I received this new doll today and couldn't wait to take and post some photos, a first look in her original outfit.  She is just as she came with one minor exception--when I went to put on her shoes the toe tore out on her hosiery.  No great loss as A) these shoes shouldn't be worn with stockings anyway, and B) Tonner makes the world's worst pantyhose.  Although the top and bottom look like a one-piece dress, they are actually a blouse and high-waisted skirt. 

Like all current Tonners (Tyler is from 2006), she has the BW or Bend Wrist body.  (For body info see this article.)  She also has the new pale skin tone.

I've decided to name my new girl "Sarah."  She just looks like that to me.  Hope you like the photos!

Like most doll jackets in this style, this one doesn't lay just right.  I'm not sure why but my Barbie jackets are the same, and it doesn't matter if they are handmade or factory.   I had Sarah pull hers tight and hold it closed with her arms and hands:

Note the jacket is lined, always the best way to go:

I like the hair style she has--I could never do this myself!
